NBA Store Australia & New Zealand
The NBA Store was designed to be clean, fast and user friendly. We wanted users to be able to purchase products on any device, while maintainting the same functionality on a mobile device as a desktop computer.
The home page features a full width sliding banner to promote fresh and sale products, a quick team selection area, a scrolling best sellers area and interactive category tiles to encourage visitor exploration. We introduced some new features to the product page including interactive 360 degree rotating jerseys, a dynamic size chart for every product and a live preview jersey customisation option. We opted for a clean, hassle free shopping cart and two stage checkout process to maintain a low cart abandonment rate.
Jetpack designed the new store with the iconic blue, red and white colour of the official NBA brandmark in mind. The NBA brand managers ensured we strictly adhered to the official NBA style guide to maintain brand consistency. These restrictions posed many challenges to the design team, but once complete the new store was highly praised by NBA Management. It is the NBA's only responsive online store and deemed "world class" in comparison to American and European stores.
